FCA Church Cup 2009 - Results
Praise the Lord for the day He has made. Let’s rejoice and be glad in it! Psalms 118:24 God gave us a great day to hold this event. It was a little chilly in the morning, and it sprinkled on us right at the end of the day, but He really did give us a great day! Great churches were represented! Great golfers participated! Not so great golfers participated! 27-holes of fun, fellowship and ecumenical competition; does it get any better than this!All of this and more made up the 2nd Annual Panhandle FCA Church Cup!As unusual as it sounds, we had a tie for first-place this year between the team from Trinity Fellowship Church and the team from First Nazarene Church! They will share in the displaying of the Church Cup this coming year and will also share in the defense of their title come 2010!

Fund Raising:
We still don’t know who the first-place fund raising team is, and we won’t know until all collected donations and pledges are turned in on November 20! As of tournament day, Paramount Baptist was in the fund raising lead, but that could change between now and November 20.
As you secure your pledges for this event, collect as much money as people offer to give you. For those folks who agree to sponsor you, but expect to pay you/us later, you don’t have to worry about collecting from them. We will do all collecting and invoicing of your unpaid pledges. Even though this event is being played on October 20, you can continue to secure pledges through November 20. However, we’ll only count pledges that we know about, whether they’re paid yet or not, through November 20, as part of the total fund raising competition. I want to encourage everyone to continue with your fund raising efforts right up to our deadline of November 20! Make sure to fax or email all final pledges to us no later than November 20. Our fax number is: 806-212-3636.
A great big Panhandle THANKS goes to everyone who participated in this event this year! Without your participation and support, Panhandle FCA could not continue to do what we do in reaching coaches and students for Christ! Each of you are making a difference for the kingdom!
